Do I need an account to use EncryptChat X?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Download the app, type a message, and encrypt it. No email, no phone number, no profile.
How do my messages stay private?
Every message is encrypted directly on your iPhone before it leaves the app. The encryption keys are created and stored only on your device - we never see them, and neither does anyone else.
Can I send encrypted messages through other apps?
Yes. That is the whole idea. Encrypt your message in EncryptChat X, then share it through iMessage, email, or any messenger you like. It stays locked until the recipient decrypts it with the right key.
What data does the app collect about me?
None. There are no servers and no tracking. Optional usage analytics are stored locally on your device only, can be turned off in Settings, and never leave your phone.
Is EncryptChat X free?
